Dear Brothers ans Sisters in Islam: Prophet Muhammad said what means: “Don’t have enmity, envy, or hatred among each other; rather be brothers and obedient slaves of Allah”. Among the great manners that the Muslim should have and one that would benefit him on the Day of Judgment is to share pure love with his Muslim brother. Pure love is the love that leads to cooperating with one another on the basis of Taqwa, and nothing else. Those who love to one another on the basis of obeying Allah shall be shaded under the grand ^Arsh on the Day of Judgment away from the intensity of the sun’s heat. Also among the good qualities that brothers in Islam can possess is to refrain from cheating, betrayal and from encouraging each other to disobey Allah. Furthermore a Muslim should wish his brother what he wishes for oneself, and hates for his brother what he hates for himself. Brothers in Islam should exchange righteous love and sincere advice, should pay one another visits and not to sever the ties of brotherhood between each other; also they shouldn’t focus on each other’s faults and mistakes and expose them to the people. The Messenger of Allah peace be upon him said: "you have been inflicted with one of the heart diseases which the previous nation had suffered from. It is one of those destructive ailments indeed, and that is: envy and hatred. I swear by the One Who controls my soul that you are not going to enter paradise without having the proper belief in Allah and that you’ll not reach the highest level of faith until you develop righteous love between each other. To achieve righteous love; exchange the salam (i.e. use the Islamic salutation amongst yourselves upon meeting and leaving one another). Allah said in the Qudsiyy Hadith which means: "My complete acceptance is granted to those who love, advise, visit, and give each other in obedience to Allah”. Once a man passed by Prophet Muhammad who was with one of his Companions. The companion said: “O Prophet of Allah I love this person”. The Prophet said: “did you inform him?” The man said: “no”. Prophet Muhammad said: “go and tell him”. Then the companion followed the man and said to him: “I love you in obedience to Allah”, the man replied: “may Allah purify you from all the sins”.
